Economic Warfare and the New Slavery

The socialist progressives are waging all out economic warfare against the American people.  The end result of this financial assault may well be our permanent economic enslavement.

"... as all history informs us, there has been in every State & Kingdom a constant kind of warfare between the governing & governed: the one striving to obtain more for its support, and the other to pay less. And this has alone occasioned great convulsions, actual civil wars, ending either in dethroning of the Princes, or enslaving of the people. Generally indeed the ruling power carries its point, the revenues of princes constantly increasing, and we see that they are never satisfied, but always in want of more. The more the people are discontented with the oppression of taxes; the greater need the prince has of money to distribute among his partisans and pay the troops that are to suppress all resistance, and enable him to plunder at pleasure. There is scarce a king in a hundred who would not, if he could, follow the example of Pharaoh, get first all the peoples money, then all their lands, and then make them and their children servants for ever ..." - Benjamin Franklin before the Constitutional Convention, (June 2, 1787)

With a few changes, those prescient words by Franklin would describe the situation we now face in our country.

Under our current corrupt and un-Constitutional government, there will be two classes of slave: those who produce and must pay ever increasing amounts to their masters; and, those who do not produce and are dependent on handouts from those same masters.

Both end up as slaves to a ruling elite.

After the Tax Day Tea Parties, many are asking: "What is next? What should we do now?"

One suggestion is to sign the Petition for Redress of Grievances and plan to use it at your next rally.

Another suggestion, is to join the economic battle with the powerful weapon of your own pocketbook.   You have a choice.  Perhaps it is time that we choose more carefully with whom we spend our money.  Exercise your right to vote with your wallet.

The socialist progressive media news outlets deny coverage of Tea Parties and other grassroots efforts to restore our freedoms.  They denegrade concerned and newly active American citizens.

A list of the major sponsors for CNN and MSNBC is provided on the Liberty Chick blog and provides an easy way for you to call, write or email these sponsors and let them know what you think about their funding of organizations that are helping tear down the American people.
