An Apology

Folks,

I want to apologize for being MIA the past several weeks.

Here are my excuses:

1 - We have gone through (and are still going through) a number of family health emergencies.  I won't go into details but will say that this involves my nephew (an Iraqi war vet) and a chronic illness with my son.

2 - I have to admit to being overwhelmed - overwhelmed by family obligations (family first!), work with my small business, and (... here it comes...) overwhelmed by the well-oiled and well-funded socialist progressive liberal left machine.  I feel like little more than a tiny piece of grit being ground between the gears of a giant Dr. Suess-ish impossible mechanical device.

I feel like we are swimming upstream in a river of thick molasses while millions stand idly by on the shores and tune in to the Micheal Jackson (yes, he is still dead) funeral circus.

So, I am sorry.

I have not given up but I am frankly not sure what to do besides focus on preparing my family for the new world we face.

To those who have shown more endurance than me: Thank you for sticking with it!

I hope you will find it within your hearts to forgive me.
